Had a call from a bloke who sounded like he was from abroad. He got really rude and told me to #### off just because of the way I speak. I don’t do it on purpose, I’ve got terminal cancer and this is just how my voice is. Quite harsh if you ask me.

In the past few days, I’ve been getting calls from a bunch of numbers that are almost identical, just off by one or two digits. They all say the same stuff like I’d been in an accident, insurance talk or claiming something. Numbers like 01324 886242, 886248, 886249, and 232026 keep popping up. I’ve just blocked them all now, they’re just scams for sure.

Got a ring from a bloke speaking with a strong Indian accent, he asked if he was talking to me by name. Then claimed he was calling on behalf of the public health department. When I told him I didn’t really believe he was from any health department, he just cut me off. Definitely a scam, so I’ve blocked the number.

I answered one of the calls but they cut off straight away. After reading this site, I went ahead and blocked the number. Different numbers, at least a couple, have called me before and they're meant to be vaccine scam calls. I've also received texts that seem to be the same kind of scam.

Like others have said before, a legit caller would at least leave a voicemail or some way to get back to them. Lately, I’ve been getting loads of these calls, usually from a UK landline code, but the person answering sounds like they’re from the subcontinent with a strong accent. I used to mess about with them, pretending to be interested for a laugh, but eventually got fed up with the time wasted. Now I just block them straight away. Just don’t bother with this one or any of the others!

Like others have said before, if it was a real call they’d at least leave a voicemail or their contact info. Got a call from this number but they just hung up on me. My phone flagged it as a possible spam, but I usually pick up unknown calls. If it was something legit, they’d have left a voicemail I reckon. They rang again not long after so I checked it out and came across this post. Seems pretty obvious it’s some kind of scam, probably trying to confirm my number to sell or something like that.

I received a call supposedly from the Public Health Department, but the individual on the line either had an Indian accent or was putting one on. I hung up, redialled the number out of curiosity, only to be greeted with a message stating I had dialled an incorrect number. Clearly, it was a scam!

Got a call from someone saying they were from the Public Health Department. Their English was terrible, which made it kinda suspicious straight away. They asked if I had a physical copy of my vaccination certificate, and then said if I didn’t, they'd send one to me if I gave them my bank info. Seemed a total scam to me. Needless to say, I ended the call and blocked the number right away!

They called me but didn’t bother to leave any message. Since I signed up with the Telephone Preference Service, I barely get calls from numbers like this anymore. As far as I know, it’s actually against the law for them to ring you after you’ve registered.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with public health, asking if I’d had my vaccines. Then they switched to questions about my GP and how long waits were at the hospital. Out of the blue, they started asking about life insurance too. I kept replying with 'I dunno' and they just laughed before saying goodbye. They said it was all for some kind of verification. Weirdly, they only used a nickname for me, never my actual name.

This caller pretended to be following up on a survey regarding the COVID jab, but honestly, he was shockingly impolite! When I inquired about his identity, he just told me to "F off" and slammed the phone down. How odd! To top it off, when I answered, he was already chitchatting with someone else in a different language. Is this really what I’m expected to tolerate? I’m determined to escalate this matter and ensure this company is shut down; I’ll certainly be looking into how to make that happen!

Just had a dodgy phone call from someone purporting to be from the Health Department. They were fishing for my insurance info and details about my GP practice. This wasn't from the NHS, mind you, but they insisted on being from the Health Department. When I prodded for the name of their company, he just kept regurgitating "Health Department" without providing any proper information. Utter nonsense, if you ask me. Definitely blocking that number!

They were seeking information regarding my flu vaccination, but their rather patronising tone when I pressed for clarification about the department's name put me off.
