This bloke from overseas keeps ringing my mum who’s got dementia, asking if she’s retired and saying thanks for being so polite. He’s called her like three times now. I grabbed the phone off her and asked him what he wanted. He just said to put the other lady on the phone. When I asked who he worked for, he muttered something in a really thick accent that I couldn’t catch after several tries. Then, out of nowhere, he just hung up on me. It’s proper frustrating.
