Today, a complete numpty rang my elderly mother in North Somerset, claiming that her computer had been hacked. He instructed her to sit at her computer with a glass of water, saying he could assist her in sorting it all out. Thankfully, she remembers to consult me before taking any action, so she hung up. This bloke didn't take the hint and kept ringing back, trying to convince her that she shouldn’t trouble her family and that he alone could resolve the issue. I’m utterly astonished!

Just encountered yet another dodgy character posing as a representative from Microsoft. Honestly, these scoundrels seem to have their calls filtered through Scotland, don’t they? Such a disgraceful bunch!
