A year on and they're still using that bogus computer issue scam. Some bloke with an obviously made-up English name from India called me, but as soon as I burst out laughing, he just ended the call.

Just had a rather dodgy call from what claimed to be a tech support team. Funny thing is, they had an Indian accent but said they were based in Ireland. Sounds a bit fishy to me! When I confronted them about being potential scammers, they promptly hung up. Just a word of caution folks - steer clear of these types!

Someone named Jason rang me from this number, claiming my PC’s windows were severely corrupted or summat. He asked me to switch on the computer so he could guide me through fixing it. I ignored the whole thing and just ended the call straight away.
