Got a robocall telling me there's a warrant out for tax evasion. Was told to press one to chat with someone about stopping any legal action. Hung up right away - total scam, be careful!

so annoying. the bloke kept calling from a different number each time, wouldn’t say who he wanted to talk to. kept asking nosy questions even after I said no. eventually just had to hang up and block him. this is the third different number this company’s used now. quite fed up with it.

Got a call from a guy with a thick asian accent saying his name was John, but he wouldn’t explain what the call was about. I asked him again to confirm his name cause it sounded odd, then just hung up as I didn’t want to continue chatting.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent looking for a Mr Owen. I said there’s no one here by that name. She then asked if I personally knew Mr Owen. I said no, and she wanted me to answer some questions about him to help track him down. I just ended the call and blocked the number right away.

I had a rather peculiar experience recently. A chap with a noticeable foreign accent called me, insisting he was from a company named Verso. He was speaking at such a rapid pace, it was hard to keep up! His approach was quite off-putting, constantly asking, “Can I share something?” He seemed genuinely curious about my thoughts, though it turned out to be just a few Yes or No inquiries. The first thing he wanted was to double-check my address, but I declined to provide it without understanding his reasons. After that, he tried to fish for my name, but I didn’t offer much there either. His response? A rather hasty "Bye, bye," as if he lost interest completely. Quite an odd encounter, really!

got a call from a woman with a heavy accent, asked for me by name. when i asked where she was ringing from, she carefully spelled out the company name - something like burso or verso, hard to tell. she said she had just three quick questions, but before she could say more i told her i had no idea how she got my info. she just said a sharp “bye” and ended the call.
