I got a call from someone saying they were from BT Openreach, warning me about unusual internet traffic and a virus trying to get in through my connection. They wanted me to log into my PC and type something in the 'programmes and files' section of Windows, but I refused since it’s my work laptop. Then they asked me to use my personal computer, which I don’t own, and after that, they just lost interest and said I didn’t need to take any action. Honestly, it felt pretty dodgy.
