Got a call from someone pretending to be from BT, saying my internet was acting up and that it’s a router issue he could fix. I told him I wasn’t on my computer (which I actually was) and that I had no clue which router light was blinking, so I couldn’t give him any details. Then I mentioned my son would be back later, and he said he’d ring me again. Doubt he’ll bother though, and I plan to block the number anyway. But honestly, I bet a few folks could fall for this kind of trick.
