Totally a scam!

Totally a con, they claim to be from O2 offering a discount.

I joined a radio contest and decided to answer the call just in case. The moment I heard the voice on the line I felt something was off. There were voices in the background and the caller seemed a bit lost. He said, "Hello, I’m calling from the EE Network," and I replied, “No, you’re not.” Definitely avoid picking up if this number rings you, best to block it.

I picked up once while waiting for a call and it was an O2 scammer. They kept ringing me back from loads of different numbers all through the day. I blocked them every time but they just kept coming.

Think it was a scam or some sort of spam, nobody said a word, just blocked the number straight away.

Picked up the phone but no one said anything so I just hung up.

Got a missed call from this number today. Decided to look it up and seems like it’s some sort of scam.

Said she was my "mobile provider", but when I asked she admitted it was EE. Havent used them in years. Just one of those annoying mobile contract scam calls as usual.

Got a call from someone claiming to be EE, saying there was a 30% discount on phone upgrades and calls. Totally not from EE, seemed like a scam to me.

I usually dont pick up unless the phone number is saved in my contacts. I figure if it’s something important, they’ll just leave a message. So, I ignored the call from this number.

Just yesterday this number called me, and I wasn’t very polite, quickly asking where they found my number and what they wanted. Then the woman at the other end started shouting in Hindi. I ended the call and blocked the number. Today they rang again but on a slightly different number, only the last three digits were different. Looks like I’ll be stuck blocking them daily until they run out of new numbers to use.

hardly said a word, sounded like a scammer to me

Had enough of these calls, this is the third number from the same lot. One even had a local area code but never picked up. Working in roofing, it’s proper frustrating, so I’m gonna tag it as risky.

Pretty much what I do with all those calls from unknown numbers. Ignore them, then look them up on who called me and block straight away. I’m pretty sure I’ve got loads of UK phone numbers blocked already. This nonstop ringing is really getting on my nerves and I think the regulator should step in. The firms offering these phone services should face penalties if they’re not careful about who they let use them.

They called again, even tho I blocked the number, but it went to voicemail and I could hear loads of noise like an office in the background. No idea why theyd be interested in hiring me, I’m well close to 80!

Got a ring from this number, said they were from some place called Blue Digital. The bloke with an Indian accent asked if I was up for making extra cash from home. I told him no, because I’m disabled. Then he started asking what my disability was, and when I didn’t want to share, he just ended the call.

This number has rung me 3 times now. They claim to be from HR Recruitment, asking if I’m job hunting. The bloke sounds like he’s in some call centre in India, with loads of background noise. They said I’d applied for a job, which is how they got my number - but I haven’t applied for anything at all. Feels like a scam aimed at people looking for work. I reckon next they’ll want money upfront for a job. No legit recruiter ever asks for cash. Watch out for these dodgy calls.

I received a dodgy call purporting to be from "Dell." Right after we started chatting, the connection went dead. If you try to call them back, they seem to be keeping tabs on all calls. I suspect they might be mishandling the recorded conversations for their own gain. (actual human on the line)

I got a phone call from this number around midday, coming from Nova Scotia, Canada. It showed up on my caller ID as "Ashbourne." Just moments after I dismissed the first call, they rang me again. I declined the call again and decided to do some digging, which led me to discover that it's been flagged by many as a potential scam. I've now added it to my blocked numbers and thought it prudent to share this information. Hope this helps!

I've been getting calls from what sounds like Indian scammers using UK/US phone numbers, and it's quite unsettling. They seem to have an alarming amount of personal information about individuals. It's truly baffling how they’ve managed to obtain such sensitive details.
