Got a call from someone claiming to be from Citizens Advice about debt help. But I know they don’t just ring out of the blue. They only phone if you’ve actually set up a call with them beforehand.

I received a call from a chap with an Asian accent, trying to fish for my bank details under the guise of notifying me about some dodgy transactions linked to my account, claiming to be from my bank. Straightaway, I decided to block him!

Some people called pretending to be fraud investigators for credit or something, they couldn’t even say my name right! When I told them they were scammers, they just hung up on me straight away.
