Got a call from someone pretending to be from Liverpool but showing a local number (01334). The guy used my first name and claimed the Ministry of Justice told him I’d been in a car crash. I told him straight up I don’t even own a car and haven’t been in any accident! Still, he kept insisting it wasn’t a cold call and that the Ministry of Justice had actually asked for the call. Complete con artists - total lies. The caller said his name was Joe from DCS.

Got a random call from some firm checking on the aftercare I supposedly got after a car crash. When I asked them for details, the woman said she couldn’t share anything due to "data protection," but strangely enough, she knew my address. Felt like they were just probing, so I ended the call. It showed a local number, which is why I answered in the first place. Caller ID just said 'Unknown.'
