Got a call from a woman with a Scouse accent about some made-up accident. Didn't share any details with her. It's nuts how people fall for these scams so easy.

Got a call from 01253 928092, bloke claimed he was Neil from Your Law Major. He was talking about a car crash I supposedly was involved in and said the insurance folks gave them my details. Total rubbish! When I told him to take me off their list and asked how they actually got my info, he got all aggressive. Best to steer clear and just block this number.

Got a call claiming there was an accident involving me. When I told her I wasn’t sure who she was (she said she was from ACA but when I tried calling back the number it came through as Your Major Law) and that my insurance was handling everything, she insisted she had an active case on me - totally false. She was obviously telling fibs and got quite rude. In the end, she just hung up on me after I called her out. Such dishonest people. Best to ignore these calls.

I was on the phone with someone named Bridget or maybe Brianne, not too sure, but she sounded like she had a mouthful of food the whole time, like she was munching on ribs or something. Couldn't make out a single thing she said. And seriously, someone needs to get that girl a packet of tissues - the sniffing and snorting were absolutely gross.

Got a call from a woman with a Liverpool accent claiming I’d been in an accident I definitely hadn’t. When I confronted her about lying, she got really rude and abusive, so I ended up hanging up.

Got a call from 0151 375 8352 today. The lady used my name right away and then said, "We're Major Law, a legal expenses firm," but then suddenly started laughing and just ended the call. Bit strange if you ask me.

Just got a phone call from Your Law Major about an accident that’s never happened to me. When I said I didn’t know what they were talking about, the woman on the line was really rude, saying it’s my issue and that she’s just doing her job. She kept talking over me, and when I asked to speak to a manager, she said she’d transfer me to the solicitors and then hung up. I tried ringing back on their 0333 number, but all I got was a voicemail saying all operators are busy and to press 1 to opt out! This is the third time they've called, and I’m honestly fed up with it.

Got a ring from some bloke from Your Law Mojor sayin I can get compo for me accident - I checked it out and it sounds proper legit - took about 20 mins and me claim is all sorted - Bring on IBIZA!

Honestly, who’s gonna trust those green and blue “safe” comments? It’s obvious they’re just posted by people working for the company, and it’s not convincing anyone at all. It ends up just making the company look daft. Folks getting these calls aren’t falling for it, so maybe try updating the info instead.

Got a call from someone saying they're with You Law Major from a London number. I’ve never come across them before and they asked if I’d been in a car crash anytime in the last 3 years. I haven’t. After reading other comments, makes me think they might be up to no good? These calls really do make me feel uneasy.

Got a call from some so-called Law Major using an 0203 number. When I questioned if their accident claim was made up, the bloke accused me of making false accusations. Then he told me I should just hang up and wouldn’t put me through to any supervisor or manager. When I asked which company he was representing, he said O2. Proper rude and totally uncalled for!

Got called a couple of times last week by some Law Major lot about an accident I supposedly had. Never heard of it before. They said they’d remove me from their list and then just hung up. When I rang them back at 020 36348481, I got put through to the most sketchy American accent with circus-type music playing in the background. Then a bloke with a Scottish accent said he was from 'Chartered Law.' Honestly, these are just con artists, a total waste of time.

Got a call from someone asking for an Antony. I said this is my number and my name isn’t Antony. Either it's some sort of scam or just a company trying to sell stuff and wasting everyone’s time. Could hear a bunch of kids yelling in the background too. Best to just steer clear.

Once again, this worked well for me, but I get how getting calls when you haven't been in an accident could be pretty annoying. I’ll gladly share a photo of my cheque once it arrives (honestly can’t wait!). About the National Insurance number, if you check any official government site linked to the one I was sent to, [#]lawsociety[###][###], it clearly says that to make a claim you must give a valid UK NI number as the only form of ID, so no one else can fraudulently claim in your name.

there's loads of unnecessary panic on here and not much logical thinking, a bunch of extra stuff about what this company supposedly wants or doesnt want, and loads of people making up stories or including nonsense that never actually happened with the company I dealt with for my claim

your law majour isnt a scam company. yeah, they do look for clients, but i chased a claim with them for a crash i had over a year ago. after i gave them my info, they put me in touch with a solicitor who sorted out the paperwork, and now im waiting on my second offer. so honestly, NOT A SCAM. if you really had an accident and never claimed, they can help you get some cash. worked great for me, but i understand how it could be annoying if you never had an accident.

Got contacted about a small crash where my wife got reversed into. They claimed they worked with RBS and Direct Line for small claims, said both my wife and daughter who were in the car could get £1500 each compensation. Said they’d send the money once we filled in some forms, including sharing our bank details. Felt like a proper dodgy scam - someone must’ve leaked the accident info, maybe someone from my insurance? Just putting this out there so someone doesn’t fall for the same con.

just had that law graduate call me again, this time showing a montrose number. asked him if he actually knew where montrose was, and he came out with loads of rubbish like "it's near the mcdonalds in montrose!" which is complete bollocks, there’s no maccies there. then he claimed they don’t need to give out their office address (they definitely do, just not the one he keeps pretending to be at). asked to talk to a manager and the bloke just got more confused and then randomly ended the call on me. proper scam artists!

I received a rather puzzling call from a chap named James, representing Albany Insurance. He said he wanted to discuss a slight bump I had recently, but I genuinely had no clue what he was on about. Received a rather suspicious call on my mobile from a number that isn’t registered to anyone I know. A woman introduced herself as Sarah James, claiming to be from Your Law Major (YLM) regarding an alleged car accident I apparently had. She mentioned they were affiliated with motor insurers. When I pressed for her name, the company's details, and a contact number, she muttered something along the lines of "if you wish to report us..." but I missed the rest before she abruptly hung up.
