Yesterday I got a call from a number in Scarborough, and earlier today I received a recorded message claiming to be from Amazon. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

Got a dodgy recorded call from 01333300220 about my amazon membership being overdue and needing renewal. I don't even have an account with them, so seems like a proper scam. Those cheeky scammers at 01333300220 need to stop harassing people like this.

I got a recorded call again today saying my amazon prime subscription needed to be renewed (the first was from a Scarborough number). I don’t even have an amazon prime account. Feels like one of those phishing scams to me.

Got a call but then it just dropped. Checked the number, and it’s showing up from Peat Inn, a tiny village in Scotland. I’m localish and know the area alright - there’s a pub/restaurant there by that name, and the place itself is tiny, maybe less than 30 homes total. I’m guessing the caller was on a mobile, because I can’t see why a scammer would be right from there, it’s such a small spot!

Got two calls today from people claiming my amazon prime ran out. Sounds like a scam to me.
