I thought it was a call I was waiting for, so I picked up and some guy with an Indian accent started saying there was an issue with my BT broadband (which is weird because I don’t even have BT or a landline). Just to mess with him, I said that, and then he started listing all these providers that supposedly use BT lines. He wanted me to check my router lights and probably would’ve kept going forever. When I told him it sounded like a scam, he got really nasty and hung up on me.

Got a call from 01332740163, some bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from Openreach. He said there were viruses on my PC and offered to fix it. At first, he said his name was William, but when I asked again later, he changed it to Peter Williamson. Didn’t have time for this scam, so I just hung up on him.
