Some bloke rang me saying he was with BT Openreach and that my internet was acting up. He wanted me to download some app onto my phone. I pretended to go along with it for a bit, then called him out saying I knew it was a scam. I told him I’d happily keep chatting but it'd just be pointless for him. After that, he just ended the call.

Got a call from someone pretending to be BT, saying our service was about to be disconnected. Problem is, we don’t even use BT! When I asked who they wanted to speak to, they just asked for the homeowner but didn’t say their name. Quite suspicious if you ask me.
