Got a ring from this number claiming to be from BT. When I asked for the contract ID, they just gave me a phone number instead. I pointed out that wasn’t a contract number and they replied with some dodgy ‘Yes, but’ comment. I told them to just send me an email and ended the call. Later on, I looked it up and found out it’s actually a Virgin Media number - no way BT would be calling from that!
