On the fourth call she warned them she’d get the police involved and then they finally stopped. The voice on the other end sounded foreign. Surprisingly, they already had my mum’s name and address. No doubt about it, it’s a complete scam.2 yearsI got a call from a lady with an Asian accent claiming to be from a kitchen appliances firm (didn't catch the exact name). She asked me to verify my name and then claimed I was owed a refund of £149. She also wanted me to confirm my address, which I did and it was spot on. She mentioned they'd be sending out some paperwork that I should get by tomorrow. I just said thanks and ended the call.
