Oddly enough, I had a call from a Stoke-on-Trent number just yesterday afternoon, which I did answer. It was a chap with an Indian accent who already seemed to know my address and was inquiring about my wife. When I clarified that this wasn’t her number, he became quite insistent, probing about the insulation in my loft-specifically, how old it was and when it was last updated. He insisted it wasn’t a sales call, but I decided to humour him and mentioned we'd last had it redone three years ago. He then went on to ask whether it was fibreglass or rockwool. He dropped a remark about health and safety before ending the conversation abruptly. I attempted to ring the number back, but of course, it turned out to be fake, either not valid or blocking incoming calls. I suspect they were just fishing for leads for a company to hound me later.
