Received a call from someone attempting to pitch a security system, claiming "they'll be in the vicinity tomorrow." I turned it down flat. How on earth did they get hold of my name? I’ve since blocked the number. Feeling a bit uneasy about the possibility of a break-in now.

On the 14th of March, they tried ringing me but I didn’t pick up, and instead of leaving a voicemail, they just ended the call. Later that day, they called three more times, but thankfully I’d already blocked the number, so none of the calls got through.

It’s obvious that this was a pushy sales call. They had my home phone as well as my mobile, which was a bit concerning. Thankfully, I was able to block the number on my mobile, but I’m struggling to do the same on my landline. Quite frustrating, to say the least!
