I've had this number ringing me non-stop all day, like ten or eleven times. I picked up once around 6:15pm but all I got was static and no one speaking, so I just put the phone down. Now, ever since that call, there's no dial tone on my landline at all! Feels like these morons never properly hung up. Seriously, if this number pops up, don't bother answering - just block it if you've got the option. I'm stuck on hold waiting for my phone company to pick up and fix my useless landline. Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who gave the name "Robert". He claimed to be ringing from the "Telephone Preference Service", but I just hung up straight away. Seems dodgy, likely some kind of scam to me.

I've had this same number buzz my phone a whopping eight times between 10:15 in the morning and 4:10 in the afternoon, all in the space of a single day. I engaged with a chap on the line who asserted he was representing a company that blocks nuisance calls. I informed him quite firmly that I wasn't interested and suggested that they were indeed the real nuisance!

Somebody called saying they were from the Telephone Preference Service and asked if I got any annoying calls. I told them yes, and they’re one of them. Then they started asking about a Visa debit card that supposedly expired in 2018, asked if I’d updated it. I just told them to stop bothering me and ended the call.

Had a call from someone saying they were from the TPS, offering to sign me up to stop marketing calls but wanted a payment. Don’t give them any info, just end the call straight away. The real TPS doesn’t make calls like that. It’s a common scam, you can easily check online and see it’s a fraud.

Had a couple of annoying calls from the same lot, with numbers ending in 3003 and 3005. They kept ringing all day, proper pestering! I've gone ahead and blocked both now, so whenever they try again it just goes straight to engaged tone. Feels good getting a bit of payback, that automated hang-up is music to my ears!
