somebody called pretending to be from my life insurance company, saying they needed to go over my policy. they seemed to know loads about me which caught me off guard. but when they put me through to a different person, i started to get suspicious and asked who i was actually speaking to. then the guy claimed “the signal’s poor” and i told him i couldn’t talk any longer and asked if he could send me his details by email. of course, that never happened. that’s what made me look up the number. definitely felt like a scam to me.

I got loads of calls every day from this sales woman who was really persistent. Even after I told her I wasn’t interested, she just wouldn’t give up. At one point she asked if I was following what she was saying, and I told her it was all a bit confusing, but she acted like that was a good sign or something. Eventually I had to just hang up on her, but they kept ringing back anyway!
