Somebody rang claiming to be from Virgin Media. When I said I don't have Virgin Media, they got really annoyed and started being rude. They kept insisting, "I'm from Virgin Media, I’m not fibbing." Their English was terrible and they spoke with this strong "Downtown Delhi" accent, which made it really hard to get what they were saying.

Got a call from a bloke with an accent, said he worked for Virgin Media and was talking about my broadband speed. Thing is, I don’t even use Virgin. He started talking about all internet companies working together to share info or something. Then he asked how many devices I had on my wifi, so I said like 70 to make him think I was running a business. Which I ain’t! Then out of nowhere, he just cut the call. Weird.

Got a call from someone saying I’d signed up for a free 28-day Amazon Prime trial and that they were about to charge me. I told him straight up I never did. Then he insisted I must be mistaken and that I’d be billed £9.99 a month unless I cancelled. He even asked me to open my laptop so he could "prove" it. I told him again I don’t have Prime, and he started getting a bit rude, saying something like, “Fine, I’ll hang up and you’ll get charged, not my problem.” I told him I’d report the number since it sounded like a total scam.
