I received an automated phone call purporting to come from my visa/debit card provider. They claimed that a sum of £300 had been withdrawn from my account, suggesting it might be fraudulent activity. I was instructed to press 2 in order to connect with an advisor. Quite clearly, it looks like one of those scams, likely from someone trying to pull a fast one.
