I received a rather alarming voicemail from this number, claiming that there were attempts to withdraw money from my bank in a foreign land. They urged me to hit 1 to prevent this from happening. Naturally, I refrained from pressing that button! It’s high time the telecom providers got their act together and found a way to combat these nuisance calls.

I received a call early this morning, around half-eight, from a woman purporting to be affiliated with the Telephone Preference Service. It felt rather dodgy, to be honest, as she was attempting to take me on a bit of a wild ride with her questions. I decided it was best to just end the call. Definitely not the real deal!

I've been receiving numerous calls from this number persistently for the last week, and it's becoming rather bothersome. My BT call minder is doing its job by cutting the calls off, but it does leave me feeling rather uneasy about the frequency of these disturbances.

I informed them that I had already received a call from this number and wasn’t keen on engaging further. After that, I promptly ended the conversation. The number that called was 01485 991582, and I couldn’t help but notice that both callers had Indian accents.
