I received a call claiming to be from BT, warning me that my Call Protect service was about to expire. They asked for my direct debit information to “renew” it. Naturally, I have flagged them as a scam and blocked their number!

I've received three calls today, and each time, there's just been utter silence on the other end. Quite perplexing, really.

An Asian woman inquired whether I was still receiving those pesky nuisance and scam calls. I replied that I was, indeed, dealing with one at that very moment. She then asked if I considered it a scam, to which I responded that it was more of an annoyance. She chuckled and warned me to brace myself for a scam, then promptly ended the call.

I picked up the call, but there was absolutely nobody on the line. Quite peculiar, really!

I've received a couple of calls from this number based in Daventry within the last half a day, one of which was at the unearthly hour of 7:20 in the morning! I've no clue who it might be, as I tend to ignore any calls from unknown numbers, especially when they don’t bother to leave a voicemail. Quite irritating, really!

A chap named Mike rang me up, claiming to be with some sort of call blocking outfit. The moment I mentioned that his call ought to have been screened out, he simply ended the conversation. Quite the cheek, really!

I've no clue who this number belongs to, but they've rung me seven times in under two hours without leaving a single voicemail. Quite baffling, to say the least!
