Phone rang and when I said my name, they just dropped the call straight away.

I've had this number ringing me loads of times, kept getting annoying calls. I've put it on block now, and even though it keeps trying, it can't get through anymore.

They called a few times within about 20 minutes but didn’t leave a message when I picked up the answerphone.

I got a call about energy efficiency and they were really persistent about setting up a meeting. We told them we weren’t interested, but they kept ringing. My husband tried calling them back, but at first no one picked up, then when they did, they just hung up without saying a word. Proper annoying!

so yesterday i got a call from some place claiming to be an energy help line. i told them to stop calling me, but sure enough, they called again. i said i was suspicious they were either scammers or just trying to get info and made it clear not to call back. how does gdpr not stop this kind of thing?

I got a call from some energy advice place, I think they said they were in Milton Keynes but not totally sure. They were pushing stuff about green energy solutions for homes. Basically, it felt like sales calls, and they kept ringing me back even after I told them I wasn’t interested before! Pretty annoying if you don’t pick up straight away.
