Got a call saying I was due a refund from some home appliances firm, but they didn’t explain much. They claimed I’d been overcharged and needed my bank info to sort the repayment. Told them I wanted a cheque instead, but they said they only send cheques if it’s more than £200. When I mentioned I’d take legal action, they just put me on hold and vanished!
