I had a rather peculiar experience recently. A lady rang me claiming that my phone bill was going to be slashed. She quickly pivoted to grilling me about my phone details. When I inquired if she represented my actual provider-which is the usual protocol for notifying customers of any alterations-she abruptly hung up on me. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
