There was a guy with a heavy accent sounding quite annoyed when i asked him to speak slower and repeat himself. i just wanted to find out who it was and tell them i wasnt interested. i also told him to stop calling as i kept getting calls constantly.

It was some kind of survey aiming to convince folks to agree to calls from certain companies, like energy providers and others. When Scottish Power called, I told them I was already their customer. Then National Geographic rang, and I just said I wasn’t a fan of their magazine. They seemed to get the hint pretty quickly.

Really spooky how the call seemed to come from my own neighbourhood. Are they seriously faking local numbers now? It's so unfair since I'm expecting some proper local calls. The guy didn’t even give me a chance to say no at first - he just started talking and I had to cut in with, “Look, I’m busy at work and want to opt out.” He just replied, “Alright, alright,” and hung up. Glad he backed off quickly.
