I keep getting calls, like at least five every day, and when I answer or try to, no one talks back. It’s so annoying! I don’t understand how they even find my number and all my info in the first place. Such scams are seriously frustrating.

Total scam. It sounded like a genuine person at first, but turns out it’s some computer-generated “real voice” thing that picks up on what you say and replies like it’s having a chat with you. Got a phone call from someone claiming they needed to do a home survey about insulation. I told them I wasn’t interested, but the lady on the other end was rather pushy and quite rude. Definitely felt like a scam.

On 7 March 2023 around 5:33 pm, this number rang our home phone. Since we didn't recognise it, we let it ring out and there wasn’t any voicemail left. Judging by what other people have said, it looks like it’s definitely some sort of scam. Being unlisted, we get loads of random calls and often have to block new numbers like this one.

Just last night and the one prior, I flagged two dodgy numbers operating out of Guildford. And now, I've got one coming from Dartford not far from here. Having perused various forums, it's clear we're dealing with the same unsavoury characters. Despite diligently reporting these nuisances to every relevant platform, I'm left pondering: why is there no action taken? There are countless complaints about these scammers using a multitude of different identities! From now on, I simply refuse to pick up calls from numbers I'm not familiar with.
