Similar to what others have said, I got two calls on Saturday from someone claiming I owed a final payment after moving house. They actually knew the exact amount, which was odd, and I have no idea where they got my phone number from. They kept pushing hard, saying they were with British Gas. I later found out they weren’t at all. I refused to pay anything and asked them to post me a proper paper bill instead. Really dodgy.
