Got a call again about some issue with my internet. It was a lady with a really thick Indian accent. I asked her if she knew which company I got my broadband from, but she said it didn’t matter because BT handles the service and they ring me about problems. I told her I get calls like this at least twice a week and why should I trust her. She didn’t give a clear reply (by then I was already a bit annoyed and messing with her). She kept calling me ‘mam’ but had no clue what my name was. When will these lot realise that everyone’s wise to this scam by now?
