There's quite a lengthy pause between the phone ringing and when someone actually picks up. It’s quite clear that it’s a call that's been routed from abroad, as the delay is rather suspect. The moment I heard the voice on the other end, I promptly ended the call. Next time, I'm considering just leaving the line open for a while to see how that unfolds. It’s incredibly frustrating to have my day interrupted like this, and one has to wonder why the authorities aren’t doing more to put a stop to this sort of nuisance.
