Had a call from someone claiming to be ringing from Volkswagen Dartford about some promotional offer. When I asked for the name of the showroom manager or any manager there, he said he was actually calling from Manchester and didn’t know anyone at Dartford. Then I asked why he was pretending to call from my local area code and he just couldn’t give me a straight answer. Honestly, not the brightest scammer I’ve come across.
