Absolute bunch of w@nkers, honestly.

Georgia asked me to hit the windows key and the r key at the same time. Not sure exactly why but I reckon it mightve given her control over my PC or something like that, putting me at risk. Honestly, best bet is to either mess around with them a bit to waste their minutes like I did or just cut the call.

Just remembered something odd about Georgia. She told me a number while chatting, but when I checked with 1471, the real number came up as 02808085555. Seems like she wasn’t quite truthful.

Yet another individual has mentioned that the call came from Microsoft in Reading!

I received a rather suspicious call today from a chap named Alex Marshall, who claimed to be representing Microsoft. He went on about my computer supposedly being compromised and insisted I power it up immediately. I played it cool and mentioned that it wasn’t the right time for me. When I asked for his contact number, he eventually provided one, perhaps hoping I’d ring him back shortly. Fat chance of that happening!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, said they were located in Reading and had an Asian accent. They told me my computer was involved in illegal stuff and had been hacked, trying to get access. When I questioned them, they started getting really rude and made inappropriate remarks. Then I spoke to the ‘manager’ called Mr Matthews, same kind of accent, who warned they’d shut down my computer since I wasn’t helping them. Seriously, don’t share any info or let these people near your PC!

I had a rather dubious phone call from the number 01782922666, with a chap claiming to be Kevin Marshall from the Microsoft Technical Support team. He insisted that my computer had been compromised. Having dealt with similar calls in the past, I couldn't help but hint that I suspected he was up to no good. He then provided me with an 0131 number, assuring me that ringing it would verify the legitimacy of his call. Naturally, I took it upon myself to investigate, and to my dismay, discovered it was all a sham.

Today, I received a rather startling phone call from a chap named Alan Smith, claiming to be from Microsoft based out of Thames Valley Park in Reading. He insisted that our computers had fallen victim to hacking attempts and that he needed to secure them immediately. My husband, quite taken aback, expressed his discontent by blaming Donald Trump and the Russians for this ordeal! Alan remained courteous throughout, assuring us that the hackers were not from those sources. Then, he inquired about what was currently displayed on our screen. We mentioned we were checking out “Microsoft cold calling scam,” and without so much as a goodbye, he hung up. What an extraordinarily rude gesture!

Got a call earlier from someone claiming to be Margaret Williams at Microsoft, said there’s some problem with my computer and I need to download their software. Told them I’m using Ubuntu so no way, sounded like a total scam. Plus, no Microsoft account linked to my number. This is the third time today I’ve gotten a call like this.

This number isn’t safe at all, definitely avoid answering it. They pretend to be from Microsoft, say your account’s been hacked and ask you to update your 'Microsoft ID'. It’s just a trick to get your bank info. Best thing is to hang up immediately and never give them remote access.

I had a rather curious phone call from a woman purporting to be from "Microsoft." She claimed my computer had been compromised due to some online gambling activity. Interestingly, her number was blocked, but she provided me with a different one to call back if I had my doubts. So, I decided to ring it, and the chap who picked up insisted he was indeed from Microsoft. However, when I probed a bit further about the legitimacy of the initial call, he hung up rather abruptly. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Got a call from someone saying they were from Microsoft, claiming my computer was hacked. When I asked for details, the bloke said his name was Benny Edwards and gave me a bit of a licence number. But when I asked for more info, he threatened to block my access. Seemed dodgy to me.

I received a call from someone who asserted they were from Microsoft Technical Support, and they informed me that my computer had been breached. This person then proceeded to access my computer remotely and presented me with a screen that allegedly showed my recent activities on adult websites. To be honest, I've never ventured onto such sites, so I found myself questioning the authenticity of the call.
