This has to be one of those HMRE con jobs, watch out!

I received a dodgy email claiming to be from HMRC and they said to ring a number or they'd send solicitors after me. When I called back, it turned out to be some kind of automatic message. Also, I’m fairly certain it’s usually HMRC in Glasgow or Cumbernauld who deal with these matters, so this seemed very off to me.

I got a recorded call from 0131 618 7909 saying it was from HMRC and someone called Denis Gray. They left a message asking me to ring them back straight away. Don't bother calling them back - it’s definitely a scam!
