2 monthsThis number kept ringing me about some incident I supposedly had, but it all links back to when AUTOGLASS replaced a windscreen on my Freelander back in 2016. They classed the replacement as an accident, which it wasn’t, and since then I’ve been hassled by what I reckon are insurance scam calls. If you’re getting odd calls like this and have had a windscreen changed by AUTOGLASS, it might be the same issue causing the bother. AUTOGLASS apparently has a habit of reporting windscreen replacements as accidents, even though most full comp insurance policies cover 2-3 windscreen replacements a year without hiking premiums. Marking it as an accident just jacks up your costs for no good reason.2 monthsGot two calls in under an hour from different numbers, both from Edinburgh. They kept rambling on about some "minor accident" and even tried to connect it to someone in my family. When I said it wasn’t me, they didn't have much else. Definitely a scam, especially since they used my maiden name - sounds like they've dug up some old records or data!Edinburgh2 monthsBeware of those calls about car crashes, it’s a scam to trick you outta money.2 monthsI got caught up in a bit of a situation.2 monthsThey called me up claiming I’d been in a car crash.3 monthsGot a call from some accident fraudsters trying to scam me. Really dodgy stuff.4 monthsI got a call from 01316086367 which looks like a landline. My call screening app marked it as a telemarketer, but since I didn’t pick up, I’m not sure if that’s right or not.Submit Your Own Report (0131 608 6367)
