It’s a scam, they ring you then quickly put the phone down as soon as you pick up. I reckon it’s so if you try calling back, you end up paying a fee.

I just tried my normal trick for unknown numbers - didn’t say a word when I picked up. If it’s a real person, they usually say hello to fill the silence, but scammers on auto dial just hang up. This caller did exactly that. Definitely a scam call!

Got a call on the 31st of October 2023 from someone claiming to be about insurance. They wanted me to give them details, but I just pretended to go along with it. When it came time to be serious, I told them my car was just a toy tractor and my grandson was driving it. Quite funny really!
