It’s a scam, they ring you then quickly put the phone down as soon as you pick up. I reckon it’s so if you try calling back, you end up paying a fee.

I just tried my normal trick for unknown numbers - didn’t say a word when I picked up. If it’s a real person, they usually say hello to fill the silence, but scammers on auto dial just hang up. This caller did exactly that. Definitely a scam call!

On 31/10/23, I noticed a missed call from this number but there was no voicemail. My phone flagged it as spam which raised my suspicions. Got a call on the 31st of October 2023 from someone claiming to be about insurance. They wanted me to give them details, but I just pretended to go along with it. When it came time to be serious, I told them my car was just a toy tractor and my grandson was driving it. Quite funny really!

Some woman called saying I’d had a car crash and there was money waiting for me. I don’t even drive, so I knew right away it was a scam. She kept pushing that the cash was ready but it was obvious to me to watch out for this kind of trick.
