Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be GoFibre, said my place is ready for broadband and to ring them back to chat. Didn't bother calling them and have no plans to. Can't stand these telemarketers at all.

Got a call about R&D tax credits, told them we weren’t interested and to stop calling, yet they still sent a follow-up email. The email looked sketchy, not from a legit company but more like some dodgy cold-calling outfit. Who in their right mind would let some bloke named Mark Dickinson handle their tax stuff? We’re on the TPS list, so clearly these lot aren’t operating above board.

I received a call from someone claiming to discuss the procedure for securing COVID funding. They insisted on speaking with the owner of the business and mentioned they were representing ABGI-UK. Mark my words, this seems like a dodgy scam! The whole thing reeked of something fishy.

Got a call from someone wanting to talk to one of our directors about some government funding from HMRC. Turns out he was from this firm called ABGI. I looked them up and it’s just a private company that supposedly helps get funding for you. Total scam if you ask me! The number they used was 01315 89555.

Got a call from someone saying they were from AMAZONE about a bogus card purchase. The line was awful, so I said I'd ring them back, but they never got in touch again. Looked up the number and it really seems like a SCAM. Stay safe, folks!

They phoned again for a Director by name. I told them we don't deal with scam calls, especially after I looked up this number when they first rang.

I got a call from this firm about R&D Tax Credits, which I know can be real for certain companies. But when I asked them questions, it felt like they were more interested in getting me to agree with them rather than actually knowing much about the tax credit scheme. If you're looking into R&D Tax Credits, I’d suggest googling it yourself or having a chat with your accountant instead of relying on these lot.
