Got a call from someone saying they were with Amazon. Sounded dodgy to me, so I just hung up straight away. Probably another one of those scams going around. Watch out, folks!

This morning I got a call from this number, but since we use BT Call Blocker and it wasn’t saved in our contacts, the phone just stayed silent. No one bothered to identify themselves, and there was no voicemail left - to me, that’s a classic sign of a dodgy call. After reading the other comments here, I’ve decided to block this number. Sadly, it seems pointless to report it to the police because without actually talking to anyone, there’s nothing to tell them except the phone number itself.

Lately I’ve been getting loads of calls from various numbers about car crashes. Oddly enough, I did have a few accidents not long ago. But these calls are sus for sure, cause as soon as you ask them anything, they just drop the line immediately.

I got a call from someone saying they were from an insurance firm, talking about a crash I wasn't even involved in.

I picked up because the number showed up as Edinburgh and thought it might be someone from work trying to get through. They mentioned some company called "Redcase/cast Solutions" and said they wanted to talk about a car crash I supposedly had. When I told them I don’t have a full licence yet, just a provisional one, they just cut me off. Felt really dodgy, like a scam or something.

I got a call from a guy named Luke claiming I’d been in a car crash. He said they were from Glasgow but the number started with 0131, which is definitely an Edinburgh area code. I said I was checking out their company details online like he suggested, then they just cut the call. Actually, I think they tried ringing me the day before about the accident too. When I asked them to take my number off their list, they said it would cost me £70, so I just ended the call.

Yeah, this is without a doubt Coop Legal Services ringing. After they helped us with my mum’s funeral, they gave me a gentle call just to check if I might want any more help in the future. They weren’t pushy at all, didn’t ask for any personal details or IDs, just offered to send over some info in writing if I fancied some advice later on. Pretty decent way of doing it, I thought.
