Got a call from someone named Liam on 01315819243, said he was ringing from the Vehicle Assessment Centre in Edinburgh. He seemed to know all about my recent no-fault car crash and told me I could get £3-000 to £5-000 in compensation. He said he got my info from the DVLA and blamed Covid for waiting three months before reaching out. He was keen to sort the claim online quickly. I told him I needed to verify things first and then ended the call. If something sounds a bit too good, it usually is. Definitely feels like a scam, so steer clear.
