I received a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from British Telecom regarding my internet connection. However, as I don’t actually have BT services or cables installed, I swiftly dismissed her as a nuisance and ended the conversation. Prior to that, I had a missed call from another number with the same area code, 01315 748639, which I suspect was about the same topic, but rather inexplicably, they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail!
