I saw the missed call but didn’t pick up since the number was unknown to me. After reading some of the reviews here, I’m pretty relieved I ignored it. I’ve gone ahead and blocked that number now.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Alan, saying he was with some call blocking company. I just ended the call straight away.

Just like a call I got back on 17th Sept 19, this bloke said he was from the telephone preference service. He asked if i'd been getting any annoying phone calls (I actually had a dodgy one a couple hours before). Funny thing is, the caller sounded odd and got annoyed when I kept telling him I couldn't hear a thing! Watch out for this kinda call.

Someone called saying they were from the telephone preference service, saying they wanted to confirm my lifelong membership. Then they asked me to verify my direct debit info for my phone bill. It was pretty clear it was a scam, just trying to grab my bank account details.
