Got a call from someone called Alex, said he was with the Solar Centre trying to push renewable energy stuff. I told him my number’s ex-directory and asked how he even got it. He said it was from some Renewable Energy Directory. I told him to take me off their list as I wasn’t interested.

This number kept ringing me at 4:10 in the morning, which is just bonkers. I honestly don’t know who it was, but calling someone that early seven times? Ridiculous. About a month ago, something similar happened to me and when I tried calling back, it was some sort of premium rate number and I ended up paying for the call. No way am I falling for that again today!

I think this number might be linked to some firm, but I can’t find any details online about it. Has anyone else had any contact with it? Just a heads up, if this number rings you, it’s probably a shared-cost call, so it’s best not to ring back.

Looks like this is a green line number, likely linked to a business where the company covers the call costs. I couldn’t identify the exact company behind it though. But I have seen a quite similar number being used by SSE Scottish & Southern Electricity’s customer support.

Got a call from this number at about 11.20 on the morning of Wednesday, 4th May 2022. The woman on the other end said who she was and then mentioned something about a “small crash” I supposedly had recently. (I’m pretty sure I haven’t been in any accident.) I just said “No thanks” and ended the call straight away.
