I received a call from the number mentioned, with an individual purporting to be a representative from Sunny Communications Ltd, touting a more advantageous deal for my mobile phone contract with Vodafone. Strangely, they seemed to possess some information regarding my existing contract! Later, in my chats with Vodafone, they confirmed they were aware of Sunny making offers but had never shared any details about my account. During the conversation, this so-called representative insisted they were operating out of Portsmouth, which I found rather dubious. They also claimed to be calling from their English offices, yet the number on my screen indicated otherwise. To the layman, they appeared somewhat credible and even sent me an email containing a link to click on. At that moment, the alarm bells rang, revealing it was a likely scam. I suggested a follow-up call later that day to conduct a bit of digging myself, but the caller from Sunny Communications wanted to rush the process and seal the deal immediately. I ended up ignoring numerous calls from them over the next couple of days, and fortunately, they seem to have backed off since then. The caller in question? Sunny Communications Ltd.
