Received a call today from someone alleging they were following up about a car accident I supposedly experienced last year. This woman was eager to assist me in claiming compensation from insurance and went so far as to request my bank details. It absolutely reeked of a scam!

They asked for my personal info, saying it was to verify my identity, but never told me which company they were from. Honestly, if English was their first language, it might have been clearer, but it just sounded a bit sketchy to me.
