So got a call from someone named Jennifer, she was super rude and kept asking for money. I decided to check the business profiles and turns out this number isn't even linked to them. Pretty sure it’s a scam. Avoid!

Hello there! I trust that the incessant calls have ceased on your end. Unfortunately, I've had the annoyance of her ringing me again as of today, this time under the guise of ‘Caitlin’. I've been careful to save all her earlier recordings where she adopted various names.

This number has been ringing me nonstop in the past day, claiming I owe more than £300 and need to pay straight away. A lady said she was calling on behalf of Yell and there was an issue with my business payment. I requested an invoice to be emailed to me, but I never got anything. So, I’m just choosing to ignore any further calls from them.

I keep receiving daily calls from her, claiming I owe £349 for a Google account. Her tone is quite unpleasant, as she insists I pay up immediately, even threatening that the amount will go up if I don’t cough it up soon. This has got to come to an end!

Watch out for this con artist! A certain Katie, who pretends to be from Scotland and goes by the name of Lyndsey, keeps pestering me with her nonsense about my current account. I fell for her tricks once before, but never again! When I asked to speak to her supervisor, she abruptly disconnected the call. If you hear her on the line, don’t hesitate to hang up. Make sure to report her to Edinburgh Trading Standards. Stay safe!

Absolute scam alert! Got a call from someone claiming to be from Yell, saying I owed them £395 for an annual subscription. They said they'd send an invoice soon, supposedly from ukbusinessprofiles as they were updating their system or something. The lady on the phone had a Scottish accent (called herself Katie Smith) and had done some serious digging on my business, spouting off details she must have pulled from Yell's site. Honestly, don’t waste your time chatting to them - it’s all dodgy!

I’ve been getting relentless nuisance calls from a woman named Lisa. I've had to involve the authorities to look into it. Yet again, it’s the same tired saga. She claims I owe funds for a Google account, which is utterly false.

I've received a series of 20 calls from a Scottish lady named Sarah, who claims to be the head of accounts at UK Business Profiles, demanding £359.99. Concerned, I decided to reach out to UK Business Profiles directly. They assured me that I have no outstanding balance with them. When I mentioned a letter I received confirming this, Sarah insisted that the correspondence was specifically about a banner advertisement. Quite the mix-up, it seems!

I've been bombarded by relentless calls insisting that I cough up £359.99 right away for UK Business Profiles linked to my Google account. I've repeatedly made it clear that I'm not interested, yet they persist and I'm utterly worn out from fending off their incessant hounding. To make matters worse, they rang from a withheld number-something I answered, thinking it might be my mate who keeps their number under wraps. The woman on the other end was exceptionally raucous and pushy. I'm planning to inform Trading Standards about this nonsense.

I'm really fed up with these callers who just won't take a hint! They keep insisting I fork out for internet access on the spot. Their constant ringing is absolutely infuriating. There's no way I'm handing over money to those who think they can simply ring me up and pressure me into paying. Not happening!

I received a rather unsettling call from this number, insisting that I hand over £200 immediately for my Google account. Naturally, I declined, as I have no intention of paying cold callers, and then they threatened that my bill would skyrocket daily until I coughed up the cash. I promptly hung up and switched on my answer machine, only to be bombarded with countless calls thereafter, though none left a message. It's an utter nuisance. I really think this number should be looked into by the relevant authorities if there's any that can take action.

I've been grappling with this firm for the last couple of months now. Despite firing off not one, but two emails expressing my desire to terminate what they call my "account," they still haven't taken a hint. Could anyone offer pointers on how to effectively put an end to this company's persistent communications with my business? Your help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!

I've encountered a rather similar predicament with a company called UK Business Profiles who are insisting I cough up £359.99 for an advertising service that was scrapped back in 2016. The caller, who introduced herself as Sarah, was incredibly aggressive and took to haranguing both myself and my employees, insisting we needed to make the payment. Whenever I attempted to return the call using the numbers she provided, either there was no response or I would hit a busy line; all I could get was her excuse about being far too 'busy' to talk. When I requested to see a copy of the contract, she simply hung up on me. This whole saga has left me rather frustrated! (6th November 2017)

I've had this number ring me on my mobile a couple of times and then once on my home phone. They claimed it was regarding my Google account, talking about reviewing my AdWords or something to do with renewing it. The thing is, I don’t even have a paid Google account, so I decided to hang up. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I've been inundated with calls from someone named Veronica this past week. Just like others have mentioned, she insists that I have an outstanding balance on my current account. This is completely untrue! The pressure she's applying is quite unnerving. I was instructed to ring the same number back urgently to sort out this supposed payment. Not a chance I’ll be doing that!

I’ve just received numerous calls from a manager named Sharon, insisting I owe £350 for a Google account and claiming it’s urgent! I wrote to them last year, requesting to close that so-called account, but apparently, that doesn’t suffice. She informed me that they only close the account after full payment has been made! What a load of nonsense!

I recently received a rather alarming call from a woman named Sophie representing UK Business Profiles. She insisted that I settle a £359.99 bill urgently, claiming it was for a second year’s subscription with Google. The email I received outlining this charge is dodgy at best; it lacks any company or VAT registration numbers, and what’s worse, it’s a whole £100 more than what we originally paid! After I pushed back and said I needed to discuss it with my manager, I attempted to return her call but was met with nothing but silence and an unresponsive extension number. Is this a con?

Quite relentless, to say the least. They’ve called me on numerous occasions and are rather insistent. I intend to report them to Action Fraud. The caller claims to represent Google for the last twelve months, which seems a bit off, given that advertising typically requires prior notification rather than being billed a year down the line.

There’s a woman who’s been incessantly phoning our emergency mobile, now claiming to be called Stacy. It’s rather odd, as she first demands our card information, then casually mentions that paying via BACS will set us back an extra £50. She’d better be prepared to wait, as her efforts will surely go unanswered!

Once more, I find myself on the receiving end of a barrage of calls from a woman, several times a week, including on my mobile. She insists that there’s an unpaid bill for Google, yet we’ve never had any sort of account with them. The number she calls from is usually withheld or marked as private, and her speech is so rapid that it’s a challenge to catch everything she says. She never provides her full name either! I've made it clear that we do not engage with withheld numbers and requested she sends a written notice if there’s an issue, which she has failed to do. This ongoing situation is causing quite a bit of stress for my husband. We had reported this same matter to the police last year, and now I’m left with no choice but to block this number once more.

I've been receiving calls from a certain Rachel Taylor multiple times, and there's another caller who goes by Sarah. Could be the same individual, who knows? One of them was quite pushy, demanding money from me for a Google account, about which I had no knowledge whatsoever. I did end up paying but swiftly cancelled the transaction through my bank. Then today, lo and behold, she rang me again, insisting that I cough up the same sum of £359.99 without delay, threatening an additional fee of £35 if I didn’t comply. I'm quite puzzled, as I've no recollection of entering into any sort of agreement with this outfit and would really appreciate any guidance on how to handle this situation.

I've been receiving multiple calls from this woman urging me to get in touch regarding my current account, which immediately raised my suspicions. I tried returning her call, but ended up leaving a voicemail asking her which company she represented, since she only seemed to know my business name and not my actual name-quite dodgy, if you ask me. She called again, reiterating the urgency of the matter in her message. So, I took to Google to investigate and discovered a whole host of others were receiving similar calls from this number with the same unsettling plea. I called her back once more, leaving a message to inform her that I was a retired police officer and would be reporting her number to the fraud squad. I might have also told her to refrain from calling me in the future and, well, ended my message with a few choice words. It may not have been the most refined approach, but it certainly felt gratifying!

I received a rather aggressive call from a lady named Rachel, who was insistent on receiving payment right away for supposedly promoting my father's business on Google. To be honest, we haven’t the foggiest who she is or what she's on about. I tried ringing her back on 0131 5101295, but the moment I started asking questions, she seemed keen to cut the conversation short. I've requested that they send over any invoices via email, so I'm rather keen to see if they actually follow through with that.

I've just received a couple of phone calls from a woman named Sarah who’s been quite insistent about wanting money from me. It's becoming rather bothersome as she's already tried contacting me twice today. Does anyone have advice on how I can put an end to these unsolicited calls from this number?

Earlier today, I received a rather alarming call from a woman claiming to be Sarah Taylor. She insisted that I owed money regarding our account at ukbusinessprofiles.com, alleging that she was representing Google. The sum she quoted was a hefty £359.00 for the upcoming year. After she finished her spiel, she provided me with a number to call back, but when I tried, it turned out to be disconnected. Remarkably, her initial call came through as a private number, and I could have sworn I heard the television blaring in the background, suggesting she was at home. To make matters worse, she sent over some invoices; one had a VAT registration and company number mentioned which she claimed were paid last year, yet the most recent one was suspiciously lacking both crucial identifiers. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I must echo what others have mentioned about this particular lady-her accent is quite unique, yet her name changes with every call she makes! In just a matter of five minutes, I received two different calls from her, each time with a new name. She claims to be inquiring about my Google account. If you've had any dealings with her, I strongly advise you to get in touch with your bank to recover any money you might have sent her, as this is certainly a fraudulent scheme. They will assist you in getting your funds back.

I’ve been inundated with calls from this lady who insists she’s contacting me about my 'current account’. I’ve taken to acting as if she’s got the wrong number, but I’m certain it’s the same voice I heard pestering me last year - you never forget a tone that’s so darn shrill! I distinctly recall her being rather pushy about money matters. For now, I plan on ignoring her incessant voicemails and feigning ignorance, claiming ‘she’ isn’t available. Let her waste her breath; there’s not a chance I’ll part with a single quid!

I recently received a rather dodgy phone call from an unknown number. I decided to let it roll over to voicemail, and the individual on the other end claimed she was concerned about my current account and urged me to return her call promptly at 01315101295. Her name was Sarah, and it appears to be yet another attempt to squeeze money from me for a fraudulent business directory listing. I've already sent them a notice asking them to cease all communications, and now I simply ignore any calls from withheld numbers. What a nuisance they are!

I've had a similar experience, where they rang me under the guise of discussing a "current account", but it turned out to be just another swindler after a made-up charge for a so-called business directory. These characters can be quite menacing and unpleasant to deal with. My advice is straightforward: insist that they communicate in writing only, and ensure that any cards they might have had access to are cancelled immediately; otherwise, they might try to take funds again. After that, feel free to tell them to clear off!

Lindsay certainly gives me the heebie-jeebies. She’s called me a couple of times, insisting I fork out £200 right away or else face a daily fine and the dreaded prospect of my website being shut down. Thank goodness I came across that earlier comment; otherwise, I might have ended up parting with my hard-earned cash to those scammers!

Yesterday, I received a call from a number listed as "unavailable," and the person on the other end was attempting to persuade me to pay a supposed bill with my credit card for some alleged "services to Google." They insisted I'd received these services, which I found quite dubious. This morning, they have since tried to contact me twice more, and while the number still appears as "unavailable" on my caller ID, they did leave a voicemail urging me to "get in touch with Lindsey at 0131 510 1295 concerning my current account immediately." I can't shake off my suspicion regarding their identity and would rather not receive any further calls from them. What steps can I take to prevent them from contacting me again?
