I asked who it was and what they wanted, but as soon as I did, they just ended the call. The number was blocked too.

Got a call from 0131 442 1098 about my mum's home appliances. As soon as I asked who it was and what company they represented, the person just cut off straight away. Proper suspicious if you ask me.

some guy called thomas gray, sounded asian, saying he was from reliable appliance repairs. he wasted almost two hours on the phone with my elderly mum, trying to convince her to give her bank info for a fake direct debit setup! total scam attempt!
