I encountered an exceptionally unpleasant individual who seemed intent on shoving the so-called 'latest' smartphone down my throat. I received a peculiar call from someone purporting to be from O2, claiming they were keen to pay off my phone contract because of a supposed data protection issue. They requested that I reset my password and then had the audacity to ask for the new one! They mentioned I would get an email afterwards confirming any adjustments to my tariff or contract, as if securing my account was a prerequisite. Honestly, it struck me as odd that 'O2' couldn't simply send me that confirmation without fishing for my password first... what a laugh!

A lady rang me claiming to be from O2, stating that as a valued customer, I could have my bill slashed for six months. When she requested my security question, I declined to provide it. She simply accepted my answer and hung up. I doubt very much that O2 would conduct themselves in that manner.
