As soon as they started with their fake spiel, I pointed the phone towards the loud traffic outside, and they hung up after just over a minute - around 1 minute and 3 seconds, I think.4 monthsI got a suspicious call from what sounded like an Asian call centre claiming to be from the DWP. They told me my national insurance number was at risk or had been leaked. Watch out cos they're just trying to get your bank info. Best thing is not to pick up, block the number, and report it straight away to action fraud or text the details to 7226.
