Didn't answer cause I didn't know the number, but looks like it's ringing again. May 2026 showing up.

Total scam call. The person tried selling me a new phone contract, so I jokingly asked what they had on. They just cut the call straight away.

SCAM ALERT: I decided to spend a few minutes on the phone just to see what these folks were up to. They said they were calling from Currys and also from O2, trying to convince me they could slash 40% off a range of stuff, including the contract I already have for my phone. Weirdly, they knew my Gmail address beforehand and asked me to click on a link for account recovery that they supposedly got Google to create. There was no way I was going to continue with that nonsense!

I've received several calls from this number today.

About half an hour back, I received a call from someone who said they were from Curry's, touting an amazing offer on an iPhone. The chap had an Indian accent, and honestly, something felt off about the whole conversation.

Got a ring on my phone from this number, but I’m usually wary of unknown callers so I didn’t pick up straight away. When I did answer, some guy with an Indian accent claimed to be from Vodafone, talking about a 50% discount deal. It sounded fishy, so I just ended the call and blocked them pronto.

Got a call from someone with a really Indian accent, started off with a cheery "good morning, how are you?" That was all he said, and since I don’t know anyone from Edinburgh, I just ended the call.

Got a dodgy call from someone pretending to be Currys trying to push a phone deal. Wouldn't be surprised if they try to con older folk with it.

Picked up the call and all I got was some robotic voice that just said “goodbye” right away. Weird!

Got a weird call today, the bloke was all over the place and I couldn't really catch what he was on about. I asked him a couple of times what the call was for, but all I picked up was something about a promotion. Didn’t want to waste my time, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone selling mobiles, but hard to get what they were saying, sounded Asian. They kept going on about having a good phone or something?

I got a call I couldn’t pick up and called back, they claimed to be a utility company but told me their office was closed. Bit odd since they’re supposed to be open 8 to 5 on weekdays.

I missed a call from this number, so I phoned them back. The company named itself as Buy Utilities or something like Bive. They said their office was shut even though their website says they're open from 9 to 5, and I was calling around midday. Seems a bit dodgy to me, why else would they not want customers ringing them unless it’s some kind of scam?

So, I got a call from someone pretending to be Three. Thing is, I haven’t been a customer with them for nearly 4 years now. They tried to push some deals that sounded way too amazing to be legit.

Got a call claiming to be from Vodafone/O2/EE about some big lawsuit and a 30% discount because of it. Turns out it’s just scammers trying to grab your personal details. Don’t fall for it and definitely don’t share any of your info with these phone calls. Stay safe!

Got a call from a guy who said he was with Vodafone - sounded Asian. Been ages since I was with them, even though I’m using the same Vodafone number. Honestly, no clue why they’d be ringing me up out of the blue.

I picked up the phone, and right away an automated voice just said "Goodbye" and then cut the call without another word.

A couple of days back, I let their ring go unanswered. Today I thought I’d pick up and an automated female voice came on, saying ‘Please die’ before cutting me off. Just saw another comment from a few minutes ago where someone else said the robot voice told them ‘Goodbye’ and then dropped the call. Honestly, some folks are just nasty, doing these weird things.
